PDF Signer
Sign a PDF in your browser. Draw, type, or upload a signature, drop it onto any page, and export a flattened copy. Nothing uploads.
Your data never leaves your deviceFrequently Asked Questions
-
Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
This is a visual signature — the image of a signature drawn, typed, or uploaded. Like hand-signing a printed page, it is accepted for most everyday uses. For legal processes that require a cryptographic digital signature (eIDAS, DocuSign, Adobe Sign), use a dedicated service — this tool does not produce a cryptographic signature inside the PDF structure.
-
Where are my signatures stored?
In your browser's localStorage, not on any server. Up to 3 recent signatures are kept so you can reuse one quickly. Deleting a signature from the list removes it from localStorage immediately.
-
Does the output lock down the signature?
Yes. After you click Apply, the signature is flattened into the PDF — baked into the page image. It can't be dragged, removed, or replaced in the output file without editing the PDF in another tool.
-
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire signing flow — load, placement, flatten, download — happens in your browser via pdfjs-dist and pdf-lib.
